9:00AM - 10:15AM || Dr. Warren Lamb — God’s Provision: The All-Sufficient Scriptures
Anxiety, depression, addiction, sexual brokenness, abuse, disintegrated families—these things are not new. In fact, God provides encouragement and hope in several places in His Word telling us that He has provided us with everything we need regarding life and faith in the Scriptures. Our goal today is to provide an overview of how the Scriptures address every aspect of the human experience and how we can be better equipped to use God’s Word to bring hope, healing, and transformation to each other’s lives.

The History and Influence of Psychiatry and Psychology
In this workshop, we will examine the architects and history of the current mental health system and their common doctrines of faith. This exercise will help us to understand why the biopsychosocial/Kraepelinian model that dominates today's culture is not helping to heal anyone and stigmatizes those in need of hope.

Why Do I Struggle to Stay Changed?
How many times have you determined to stop reacting in anger or told yourself you were done with internet pornography, gossip, or anxiety, only to find yourself repeating the sin cycle? Changing sin habits requires more than determination; true change is found in what the Bible calls a change of heart or the renewing of the mind. This session is very practical, and my goal is to examine several common sin issues and how when the Word of God is applied to the heart of man, we are transformed, resulting in lasting life changes!

Biblically Counseling the Heart & Its Temptations
God provides insight in His Word that enables us to understand how each of us is tempted. Knowing how you are tempted is important in battling all types of addictive issues and more importantly, knowing how Christ has modeled the way to overcome temptations is essential. Thankfully, God's Word provides answers on both fronts. Our goal is to apply biblical principles to the temptations of life in order to produce lasting transformation.
